Like most Brits, I enjoy slagging off the NHS. Without the denigration of our public services – and the weather – we’d have nothing to talk to each other about.
Which is why I was intrigued to discover that the NHS apparently gets a load of good press in Michael Moore’s latest film, Sicko.
I guess that compared to the money-grabbing service that exists in the States (47 million uninsured Americans), even our dilapidated system is preferable.
Still glad I’m in Denmark though.
