Disco

Ignore the video just listen to the song . . .

I first heard this about ten years ago when I worked in a clothes shop with a disgruntled and disillusioned DJ.

Over time, he taught me about early underground disco and helped me appreciate that music does not begin and end with commercial recognition.

He also introduced me to Louis-Ferdinand Celine, Blaise Cendrars and William Carlos Williams.

Wherever he is now. . . I hope he’s a little closer to figuring it all out.
